Freya (she/her/hers) is a white settler woman living on the stolen home lands of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples. Freya recognizes that she must remove herself from her comfort zone and be open to criticism and learning every day in order engage in the process of decolonization. Freya is passionate about justice and believes that engaging and thoughtful facilitation is a key way to share this passion. She believes that gaining understanding of environmental, social and economic justice is important for younger folks, including herself, to help everyone live a more equitable future.
