Identifying as queer, an immigrant, and a former youth in care, Anita is currently a nursing student. They are interested in social determinants of health, environmental justice, migrant justice, and sex worker rights. They are actively working to decolonize their perspective while living on the stolen land of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations. Anita is honoured to have facilitated workshops on health equity, mindfulness, youth advocacy, and facilitation. In their spare time they like to go hiking, ride their bike to the beach, and learn histories of resistance.
